Pau was born in Hong Kong. She has been attracted by the unique Chinese brushwork while she was an amateur painter and decided to go to Hangzhou to learn Chinese painting at the China National Academy of Fine Arts. After returning to Hong Kong, Pau studied at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed the BA and the MFA course. She now teaches Chinese painting and seal carving at different academies as well as the art programs of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. She mainly uses Chinese painting and seal carving as her art medium.
